About Our Practice

Bartzokis, Rubenstein & Servoss, M.D., P.L. is an experienced single specialty group that has grown to become one of the region’s leaders in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. With four full-time cardiologists, three invasive and one noninvasive, as well as a Physician’s Assistant, our group has been providing care to the South Florida community since 1991.

Dr. Thomas Bartzokis first arrived in south Florida in 1991 performing one of the first coronary atherectomy procedures in South Florida while also helping to introduce this new technology to the region. At the time it was the only alternative to coronary balloon angioplasty. Over the years, Dr. Debra Becker, Dr. Mark Rubenstein and Dr. Stephen Servoss joined the group to expand its size to four full-time Board Certified cardiologists adding considerable expertise in the areas of invasive, noninvasive, interventional, and nuclear cardiology, as well as vascular medicine and endovascular intervention.

Our group is conveniently located next to Boca Raton Regional Hospital offering state of the art facilities in coronary, peripheral arterial and carotid intervention, as well as cardiac surgery. Diagnostic services offered in our office, at 1000 Northwest 9th Court, include exercise stress testing, nuclear stress testing, echocardiography, ultrasound, 24-hour Holter monitor, pacemaker/defibrillator clinic, and Coumadin clinic.

Realizing that the heart and blood vessels function as one system, our group has recently incorporated a complete vascular program including vascular imaging, vascular medicine and endovascular intervention, including angioplasty and stenting of the carotid, renal, upper and lower extremity arteries.

The expertise of many members of the group has also been recognized locally. Dr. Bartzokis is a past Chief of Cardiovascular Services at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Bartzokis has served as Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Rubenstein, Dr. Becker holds an academic position with the FAU Medical School, currently helping train future doctors who will serve the community.

We have an easily accessible main office location on 1000 Northwest 9th Court, Suite 101 and 102, adjacent to Boca Raton Regional Hospital.  Inpatient services are provided at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, voted one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation. We are on most insurance plans. We treat all of our patients with the highest level of care and compassion.
