Ken Gatsik PA-C
Ken Gatsik PA-C began his career at 5 as a childhood actor, under the stage name of Kenny Gates. He was in television shows, commercials, films, and did voice-overs for cartoons. His most memorable cartoon voice was as Tubby in “Little LuLu” cartoons that were seen on movie screens before the feature film. When he was 7 years old he stepped in as understudy for his ailing brother who had the child lead in the traveling Broadway show “A Hole in the Head” starring Hal March. He opened to wonderful reviews in Philadelphia.
At 16 Ken began working summers at Palisades Amusement Park, and continued working there throughout his college years at Adelphi University on Long Island. He liked the seasonal work which offered months off in the winter so he could pursue his interests in travel, tennis and scuba diving. He chose to stay in the Amusement Business and worked for a company that ran merchandise game operations throughout the country. He then became partners in three arcades in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Having always had an interest in medicine, he decided to undertake the Physician Assistant Program at Hahneman Univesity in Philadelphia. Following a year of taking prerequisites, Ken was one of 68 students out of 1200 applicants accepted to Hahneman’s program. Ken worked in the cardiology department in Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia before accepting a PA position with Dr. Bartzokis and relocating to Boca Raton January, 1997.
Ken resides with his family including his wife and son in Boca Raton.
